Activate UCInetID (Campus)

Note: Please check your personal email from the Employee Experience Center to find your UCInetID.
(If you do not see this email please check your junk/spam folder.)
If you still do not see the email, contact the EEC at 949.824.0500.

Step 1:

Open a browser and go to activate.uci.edu.
Select Faculty, Staff, and Students to begin the activation process.

Step 2:

Enter your personal information. Then use “Welcome2UCI” as your password (this password will be overwritten during the HS Login Setup)
Confirm password, select a security question, and enter answer twice.

Step 3:

Read and accept the UCI Computer & Network Use Policy, then click “Yes, I agree.  Activate my UCInetID.”

Your UCInetID is now activated. 

 

If you get a message stating your UCInetID is already active, please continue on to
Section 2. Reset UCI Health Password.

Check the current time and wait 15 minutes until after the next sync time listed below before continuing to the next step.

Sync Times (PST):
Mon-Fri:  6AM, 8AM, 10AM, 12PM, 2PM, 4PM, 6PM, 10PM
Sat-Sun:  6AM, 12PM, 6PM
