Benefits of Enrolling

  • Many of UCI Health applications are preconfigured so there is no need to configure them to log in with your HS account (exp. Epic Haiku and Cisco AnyConnect).
  • Only the application you install through our App Catalog will be uninstalled in the event your phone is lost or if you are no longer associated with UCI Health
  • This assures HIPAA compliance.

Enrolling your Device

Apple Device Enrollment:

Open your device’s web browser application.

  1. Scan the QR Code using your camera or navigate to https://airwatch02.hs.uci.edu
  2. Type staff for Group ID and click Next
  3. Group ID drop down menu is iOS
  4. Login with your HS account and Password No need to type in your full email address, just the account name.
  5. Click Next
  6. Click Accept to the UCI Health Terms concerning Mobile device usage
  7. Click on Download Profile
  8. Click Allow to download profile
  9. Click Close on pop-up window
  10. Click Continue

Install the profile you downloaded 

  1. Go to your home screen
  2. Open the Setting App
  3. Click on the Profile Downloaded setting
  4. Click on the profile to install
  5. Click Install on the top right of the profile
  6. Click Trust to trust the profile
  7. Follow the other prompts to complete the install
  8. Once installed return to the home screen

Open the Safari web browser to finish the enrollment  

  1. You will see a congratulations page. WAIT A MOMENT
  2. The page will redirect to the UCIHealth WiFi Registration Page and will register your device to the UCIHealth WiFi.
  3. If you are off-site and the page refreshes to a 10 minute timer, you may close this window by clicking the link at the bottom of the site and you are done.

Enforce Pin

  1. If a pin is not already set on your device, you will be prompted to create one.
  2. The pin can be anything from a 4-digit number to a word phrase.

Installing Applications

  1. Any application installed by Airwatch will require your permissions to install. Click Install to proceed.

Managing Applications

  1. If you have an existing application that exist in the Catalog App you may be prompted to have that application Managed. This
Android Device Enrollment:

Open your device’s web browser application.

  1. Scan the QR Code using your camera or navigate to https://airwatch02.hs.uci.edu
  2. Type staff for Group ID and click Next
  3. Click the blue-bar link to open the Google Play Store
  4. Download the free Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub
  5. Once downloaded return to the web browser application
  6. Click on the link located at the bottom of the website: “Click here to continue enrollment”

The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub will open to continue registration 

  1. Group ID drop down menu is Android
  2. Click Continue
  3. Login with your HS account and Password No need to type in your full email address, just the account name.
  4. Click Next
  5. Click Accept to the UCI Health Terms concerning Mobile device usage

Setting your work profile 

  1. Each Android OS has their own prompts when setting your work profile.
  2. Follow the prompts on your phone until your work profile is completed
  3. You may be prompted to delete the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub from your personal profile so it only exists in your work profile. This is expected.

Enforce Pin

  1. If a pin is not already set on your device, you will be prompted to create one.
  2. The pin can be anything from a 4-digit number to a word phrase.

Installing Applications

iOS
  1. The Catalog App can be found installed on the last page of your Home Screen
  2. Open the Catalog App for a list of application available for your device.
  3. Click the install button to install the app. Wait for pop-up to confirm installing of the app to your device.
Android
  1. The App Catalog can be found under the app directory.
  2. Under the apps directory there 2 newly created tabs, a Personal and a Work tab. The App Catalog is located under the Work tag.
  3. Open the Catalog App for a list of application available for your device.
  4. Click the install button to install the app. Wait for application to install.
    a. You can also use the work version of the Play Store to download work-related applications.
  5. NOTE: It is now possible to have 2 copies of the same app with this configuration. You can have the same app installed for personal use and work use. If you find that you have 2 of the same app and only want to keep one delete the personal app and keep the work app.

Un-Enrolling Your Device

Note: All applications installed through Airwatch will be uninstalled for iOS and Android devices and you will lose access to the UCIHealth WiFi

iOS
  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to General
  3. Go to Device management
  4. Click on Workspace Services
  5. Click on Remove Management
Android
  1. Open the Hub app in the Work apps Folder
  2. Click on This Device
  3. Click on Unenroll device
